ECE ILLINOIS Department Head William H Sanders and CSL Donald Biggar Willett Professor, was one of four University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign faculty members who were honored on April 25 with Campus Awards for Excellence in Faculty Leadership.
Sanders was awarded the Executive Officer Distinguished Leadership Award which recognizes outstanding academic leadership and vision by an executive officer in a college or campus unit.
Sanders has held three executive officer positions during his 23 years on campus, consistently prioritizing excellence and diversity as core values as the head of ECE ILLINOIS.
