Cybersecurity
As digital threats grow in frequency and sophistication, cybersecurity has never been more critical. From ransomware attacks on hospitals to potential breaches in national infrastructure, the risks are escalating alongside our digital dependence. Adversaries are constantly evolving, challenging traditional defenses.
CSL houses the Information Trust Institute (ITI), which leads efforts to build trustworthy computing systems—ones that are not only secure but also private, resilient, and dependable. ITI takes a holistic approach, designing systems from the ground up to inspire trust and validating them against the highest standards.
CSL’s Security and Privacy Research Group tackles a broad spectrum of challenges, including secure cloud computing, IoT security, hardware and OS protections, and cryptographic solutions. By anticipating emerging threats, CSL researchers aim to create a safer digital future for critical infrastructure, institutions, and individuals alike.
A NOTE FROM OUR EXPERTS:
“The Information Trust Institute at the CSL develops advanced cybersecurity technologies that detect, defend, and recover from sophisticated attacks. Our research strengthens the security and reliability of the systems that power modern life.”
