Robotics

Robotics is an interdisciplinary and evolving field focused on developing intelligent machines that interact with the physical world. Robotics research at CSL emphasizes computational methods for planning, perception, and learning, novel sensing devices and methods, mechanical device design and development, integration between software and hardware, and deploying and evaluating these methods in real-world settings. Our mission is to achieve excellence in robotics research by integrating diverse aspects of engineering and computing into robotics applications with significant socioeconomic impact, such as autonomous vehicles, industrial robots, medical robots, and agricultural robots.
